ZOAHARIAN.COM - Redmi has quietly released a new series to complete its line of smart phones, namely the M series via the Redmi M100 which is currently being marketed in China.
The smartphone comes with a large 7900 mAh battery and has a Snapdragon 4 Gen 5 chip from Qualcomm.
In the Gizmochina report, Tuesday (18/8), this smartphone has a 6.9 inch (17.5 cm) screen with an LCD display panel and a refresh rate of 120 Hz. This screen is protected with a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass which is also supported by eye protection features.
Furthermore, in terms of durability, this cellphone is claimed to be supported by dust and splash resistance and can withstand up to 500,000 fingerprint touches.
There are three colors offered, namely Midnight Black, Starry White, and Wilderness Green. All three are designed with a design called four-dimensional micro-curved plus a touch of RGB dynamic lighting which is available on the camera module. The specification that is highlighted is the battery size, namely 7900 mAh which is relatively large with support for 45 W fast charging using a cable and a 22.5 W reverse charging feature is also available.

Redmi designed this phone to be compatible with the PPS charging protocol so that users can use super-fast third-party fast chargers.
For its powertrain, this cellphone is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 5 which has a 4 nanometer chip size with an eight-core CPU which is also equipped on other Redmi cellphones such as the Redmi 17 5G.
In terms of photography, this cellphone is equipped with a 13 MP main camera and supports features such as film filters, portrait mode, night mode, live photos, dual-view shooting, Pro mode, and document scanner.

On the front, there is a 5 MP front camera which is supported by beauty mode, face recognition, portrait mode and night mode features.
Other specifications presented on the Redmi M100 include NFC, a fingerprint scanner on the side, and a 3.5 millimeter headphone jack.
Redmi added special features for elderly users on this cellphone in the form of larger icons and writing, volume support up to 300 percent, and a feature to block unwanted phone calls.
These features are designed to make the Redmi M100 easy to access from reading, listening and use.
Redmi M100 comes in three memory configurations with 8GB/128GB RAM/ROM sold for 1799 Yuan (around Rp. 4.7 million), 6GB/256GB for 1999 Yuan (around Rp. 5.2 million), and 8GB/256GB for 2199 Yuan (around Rp. 5.8 million).
It is not yet known whether the M series will also be released in the global market or will only be available exclusively in the Chinese market.
