ZOAHARIAN.COM  – President Prabowo Subianto introduced a number of government aid recipients in his speech at the Annual Session of the MPR RI and the Joint Session of the MPR, DPR, and DPD RI 2026 at the Nusantara Building, Parliament Complex, Senayan, Jakarta, Friday (14/8/2026).

One of the residents Prabowo introduced was Susanah, a recipient of the Family Hope Program (PKH) from Bogor Regency, West Java. Susanah is said to work as a daily laborer peeling onions.

In his speech, Prabowo said that this job was one of Susanah's sources of income to meet her family's needs.

"Today, we are joined by Mrs. Susanah from Bogor Regency. She works as a daily laborer, peeling onions for Rp. 700 thousand per kilogram. The Family Hope Program and the basic food program help maintain her children's education," said Prabowo.

Apart from Susanah, Prabowo also introduced Margarelitha Rohi from Kupang, East Nusa Tenggara (NTT). Margarelitha is said to have lived a life full of limitations since childhood and never received an education.

At the age of 38, Margarelitha still trades and cares for her aunt who is 80 years old.

"Also present was Mrs. Margarelitha Rohi from Kupang, East Nusa Tenggara. Since childhood, she lived in hardship and never received an education. At the age of 38, she still trades and takes care of her 80 year old aunt. ATENSI social assistance is supporting her family," said Prabowo.

Explain the Achievements of 21 Months of Government

In this state agenda, Prabowo did not only convey the stories of social assistance recipients. The President also explained a number of government achievements during his approximately 21 month leadership period.

This speech was delivered in the series of the Annual Session of the MPR RI and the Joint Session of the MPR, DPR, DPD RI as well as a state speech welcoming the 81st Anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Indonesia.

Prabowo said the government had implemented 121 transformative policies in 663 days to resolve various problems that were considered to have been faced by Indonesia for a long time.

A number of programs highlighted include food and energy self-sufficiency, the Free Nutritious Meal (MBG) program, development of the education and health sectors, and reform of state-owned enterprises (BUMN).

The government is also said to have achieved self-sufficiency for eight food commodities, stopped importing diesel through the implementation of B50, and reduced fertilizer prices by 20 percent.

Apart from that, the government is developing the Red and White Village/Subdistrict Cooperative, building People's Schools, and developing Fishermen's Villages.

Downstream to Social Protection

In his speech, Prabowo also conveyed a number of other strategic policies, starting from downstreaming natural resources, strengthening BUMN, to managing foreign exchange proceeds from exports through PT Danantara Sumberdaya Indonesia (DSI).

The President also highlighted various policies in the fields of social protection, health, public services, defense and foreign policy.

The introduction of Susanah and Margarelitha in the state forum was part of the government's emphasis on the importance of social assistance programs in helping people face economic limitations.

Through social protection programs, the government hopes that vulnerable communities will continue to receive support to fulfill basic needs, including education and continuity of family life.
