ZOAHARIAN.COM – The case of alleged molestation of a minor that dragged a teacher and Deputy Principal (Wakasek) of SMAN 1 Pramuka has entered a new phase.

Reporting from PASUNDANEKSPRES.ID, Subang Police have named a teacher with the initials AT as a suspect in a case involving alleged criminal acts of child molestation.

Subang Police Chief AKBP Andi Purwanto confirmed that there was a report regarding this case. This case was recorded in Police Report Number: LP-B/614/IX/2026/SPKT/Polres Subang/Polda Jabar, dated 7 September 2026.

In a press conference at Subang Police Headquarters, Friday (11/9/2026), Andi said that investigators had named AT, who also serves as Deputy Head of Student Affairs, as a suspect.

"In this case, the police named AT, a teacher who also serves as Deputy Head of Student Affairs, as a suspect," said Andi.

Based on the results of the investigation and information gathered by investigators, the alleged crime occurred on Saturday, August 29 2026. The location of the incident is said to be in the teacher's room at a high school in the Pramuka District.

According to police information, the suspect is suspected of committing a number of indecent acts against the victim. These alleged actions include kissing the victim's hands and eyes, playing with the victim's lips, and even touching the victim's sensitive body parts.

The police then carried out a series of investigations to uncover the case. A number of pieces of evidence have also been secured and are now part of the investigation process.

"In the investigation process, we have also secured a number of pieces of evidence related to each victim," said Andi.

The evidence that was secured included the victim's clothing and documents used to confirm the victim's age.

In this case, AT was charged with Article 418 paragraph (1) of the Criminal Code (KUHP) regarding alleged obscene acts against children. This article carries a maximum penalty of 12 years in prison.

"The maximum criminal threat in this article is 12 years," said Andi.

The threat of punishment can also be increased because the suspect is suspected of being an educator or teacher.

Subang Police confirmed that the legal process against the suspect would continue. The police also emphasized that the protection of child victims is one of the main concerns during the case handling process.

"We ensure that the legal process against the suspect will continue, while protecting the child victim is one of the concerns in handling this case," he concluded.

The suspect still has the right to undergo legal proceedings in accordance with applicable regulations and the principle of presumption of innocence until a court decision is made that has permanent legal force.
