ZOAHARIAN.COM – Want to play at a waterfall but can't handle cold water? There is a place in the Ciater area, Subang, which offers a different experience. The name is Curug Nangsi, a natural tourist destination that combines a waterfall with a warm water pool.

Nangsi Waterfall is in Nagrak Village, Ciater District, Subang Regency. The location is in a hilly area and is surrounded by expanses of tea plantations, so the atmosphere still feels green and natural.

An overview of the latest conditions of Nangsi Waterfall was shared by YouTuber Indra Pratama through a point of view (POV) style travel video. In the video, the journey to the location starts from the Cikole area, Lembang, then heads to Ciater, Subang.

From the main Ciater road, visitors need to take the route to the Gracia Spa Resort area. After that, the journey continues following the road until you arrive at the Curug Nangsi area.

For access, motorbikes and cars can still enter. However, visitors still need to be careful because there are a number of parts of the road whose surface is uneven. Large vehicles such as buses are also considered to be quite difficult because the lanes are getting narrower.

The ticket is IDR 25 thousand

So, regarding ticket prices, Curug Nangsi is still quite pocket friendly.

Visitors are charged an entrance ticket of IDR 25,000 per person. Meanwhile, the motorbike parking fee is IDR 5,000.

What's even more interesting is that tourists who want to create content or vlogs are not charged additional fees.

Nangsi Waterfall operates from 08.00 to 17.00 WIB. However, there is a special schedule that potential visitors need to pay attention to.

This destination is closed every Tuesday and Wednesday for maintenance activities. So, don't come all the way and find the tourist door closed.

There are waterfalls, warm water too

The main attraction of Curug Nangsi is not just the waterfall.

In this area there is a pool which is fed by warm water from geothermal sources in the Ciater area. The sensation is certainly different from waterfalls in general which are synonymous with cold water.

In Indra's video, there are two pools that are not too big. Apart from that, there is also a warm water shower that visitors can use to relax.

Meanwhile, the part of the river below the waterfall has a more normal temperature because the water is mixed with the cooler flow.

The water condition is also said to be quite clear. The trees around the river flow make the atmosphere feel more natural and suitable for just sitting back, playing in the water, or unwinding.

Don't choose the wrong time

There is one thing you need to pay attention to if you want to visit Curug Nangsi, namely the arrival time.

On weekends, this area can be quite busy. In fact, a number of gazebos around the pool seemed to be filled with visitors.

Because the tourist area and pool are not very large, this condition makes the atmosphere feel more crowded.

Therefore, for tourists who really want to heal, take a relaxing bath, and enjoy the natural atmosphere without being too busy, weekdays can be a more comfortable choice.

Moreover, Nangsi Waterfall has a routine maintenance schedule every Tuesday and Wednesday. Visiting after the maintenance period is complete can be an attractive option for tourists who want to enjoy the area in more comfortable conditions.
